David Haenel is best described as a zealous warrior. He has spent his entire career trying cases and training attorneys, law enforcement, and the Judiciary on criminal and traffic related issues. He was selected as the former Florida DUI prosecutor of the year in 2004 for his knowledge in DUI cases. He left the state attorney’s office in 2004 and formed the firm of Finebloom and Haenel, P.A. with Darren Finebloom. The firm handles criminal and traffic cases across the State of Florida and employs some of the brightest legal minds in the field.

David has completed the Florida laser and radar class and frequently lectures to law enforcement on traffic issues. He was recently appointed as vice-chair of the Florida Bar’s Traffic Court Rules Committee. David and his firm are constantly featured in local papers and on TV, as well as CNN and AOL.Com.

David graduated in the top third of his class from Widener Law School in Wilmington, Delaware and the following year received a master’s in law (LLM) in criminal law and trial practice from the State University of New York at Buffalo. David is admitted to practice in all Florida state courts, the Federal Middle District of Florida, and the State of New Jersey.
